Information We Collect

Push Notification Tokens

When you enable push notifications, we collect your device's push notification token through Firebase Cloud Messaging (a Google service). This token is a unique identifier that allows us to send you notifications about:

• Church services and events
• Ministry-specific updates (Men, Women, Youth, Kids, Young Adults, Gospel Advancement)
• Important church announcements
• Awaken Christian Academy updates (if subscribed)

Anonymous Usage Data

We collect anonymous app usage data through Firebase Analytics to help us improve the app, including:

• App opens and screen views
• Feature usage statistics
• Crash reports and error logs
• Device type and operating system version
• App performance metrics

Content You Create

The following data is stored locally on your device only and is not transmitted to our servers:

• Sermon notes you create and save

• We do NOT require account creation or collection of personal information to use the app
• We do NOT share your data except as necessary to provide app services (e.g., Firebase for notifications)
• We do NOT collect financial information - all giving transactions are processed securely through Planning Center's platform

Your Notification Preferences

You have complete control over the notifications you receive:

• In the App: Use the Notification Settings screen (accessible from the hamburger menu) to subscribe or unsubscribe from specific topics
• On Your Device: Disable all notifications in your iPhone's Settings → Notifications → Awaken Las Vegas

Data Storage and Security

Your sermon notes and app preferences are stored locally on your device using Apple's secure storage mechanisms. Push notification tokens are stored securely by Firebase. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect data transmitted through our app.

Children's Privacy

Our app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is designed for general church audiences. Parents and guardians should supervise their children's use of the app.

Changes to This Privacy Policy
